BUHR named Gazelle company for the third year in a row – new CEO joins the company at the turn of the year

BUHR, one of Norway's most innovative providers of HR services through outsourcing, has recently been honored as Gaselle 2024, for the third year in a row.

This prestigious award honors small and medium-sized growth companies that have achieved impressive results in the Norwegian business community, highlighting the country's most successful companies. Since its inception in 2018, BUHR has transformed the HR landscape, and with solid growth under its belt, it is clear that their unique concept and approach resonate well with clients across industries.

Bjørg Ueland

Bjørg Ueland, founder and CEO of BUHR

– We are extremely proud to be recognized as a Gazelle company for the third year in a row. This distinction is a direct result of the work of our talented team and our continuous focus on providing innovative and flexible HR services that truly meet our customers' needs, says Bjørg Ueland, current CEO of BUHR.

In 2023, BUHR had a turnover of over 40 million kroner and an operating profit of 5.6 million kroner. Since 2020, the company has had an impressive growth of 501.79 % over the past three years. This gives it the status of a Gazelle company. Dagens Næringsliv has named Gazelle companies since 2003, and the criteria are that the company must have doubled its turnover over four years, have a turnover of one million kroner in the first year, have a positive overall operating profit and have avoided falling turnover.

High demand in the market

BUHR has built a unique business model that gives businesses access to a full-fledged HR team through subscription agreements, as a cost-effective solution to HR challenges.
With cutting-edge expertise in all HR-related disciplines, BUHR functions either as a complete HR department or as a supplement to existing HR functions. This flexible offering has made them a favorite in the market, among small and large companies.

Ueland continues:
– The secret behind our success is a continuous focus on delivering up-to-date and professionally strong HR expertise, with great flexibility in the solution for our customers. We provide them with a cost-effective solution that meets their resource needs.

BUHR's vision is to be a leading and long-term strategic partner within their service segments, as well as a preferred choice, both as an outsourced HR function for small and medium-sized businesses, and as a valuable supplement for larger companies.
