Gazelle company for the second year in a row

BUHR hit a market that was ready to consider an outsourcing model for HR. Not all companies are large enough to have their own HR department, which is why BUHR offers this opportunity through its subscription service.

Bjørg Ueland startet opp BUHR alene i 2018, etter flere års ledererfaring innen ulike bransjer. I dag er de 38 ansatte med avdeling både i Oslo og Stavanger, og leverer tjenester til hele landet. Gjennom en abonnementsløsning, får kunden tilgang til et helt team med tilgjengelige og operative rådgivere, som har hver sin spisskompetanse innen HR-faget. De tar seg av alle kundens behov innen blant annet on-boarding, rekruttering og sykefraværsoppfølging. Skulle kunden havne i en vanskelig situasjon, snur de seg rundt og fikser.

– Gjennom karrieren min har jeg merket at enkelte markeder har hatt lite eller manglende respekt for HR som fag. Flere har en oppfatning om at HR ikke er nødvendig, og overlater ansvaret til en tilfeldig ansatt hvor det forventes at personen skal løse alt. Dette ønsket jeg å gjøre noe med, og startet derfor BUHR, forteller Ueland.

Øker lønnsomheten for bedrifter

Det kan være kostbart ikke å gjøre grunnarbeidet i personal- og HR-arbeid riktig. Ryddige avtaler, gode ansettelser og unngåelse av konflikter, eller bistand til å håndtere dem på en god måte når de oppstår, kan spare bedriften for store kostnader og gjøre den mer lønnsom.

– Vi er opptatt av kvalitet og kompetanse. Derfor bygger vi et HR-miljø internt, hvor vi utvikler oss for å være relevante. Hos oss har alle minimum bachelorgrad innen HR, med hver sin fagdisiplin. Det er ikke mulig for en person å dekke alle behov. Derfor er ikke vi en konsulenttjeneste, men gir heller kundene våre tilgang til en hel HR-avdeling hvor vi finner den riktige kontaktpersonen til deres behov, forteller Ueland.

Tar ikke veksten for gitt

I 2022 omsatte BUHR for 26 millioner kroner og hadde et overskudd på tre millioner kroner. Dette ga status som Gasellebedrift. Dagens Næringsliv har kåret gasellebedrifter siden 2003, og kriteriene er at bedriften må ha doblet omsetningen over fire år, ha omsatt for en million kroner første året, ha et positivt samlet driftsresultat og ha unngått fallende omsetning.

– Jeg er en ambisiøs person med store drømmer, og har jo gått hardt ut og sagt at vi skal være den foretrukne leverandøren innenfor vårt segment. Vi er veldig stolte over at flere store energikonsern og selskaper drar nytte av våre tjenester, og at HR-faget etter hvert får den respekten det fortjener. Men jeg tar ikke veksten for gitt. Det er viktig at vi tør å være ærlige med hverandre og tydelige på hva som funker og ikke, sier Ueland.
